2016 DECEMBER: COOLING CONTROL ESTABLISHES THE 22ND GAS COOLING SYSTEM OYAK ADANA CEMENT
OYAK CEMENT GROUP, one of the seldom manufacturers of white cement in Turkey, has started the installation of a new white cement production line in group’s Adana Cement Plant. Within several investments, the line will have a newly designed gas cooling tower and gas conditioning systems based on water spray principle. OYAK ADANA has placed the order for gas cooling tower design and its gas conditioning system to COOLING CONTROL which is the registered brand of FTR MAKİNA A.Ş.
The new gas cooling system of ADANA will be 22nd system realized by COOLING CONTROL in Turkey.
The system will be HYBRID principle which is the combination of both return and non-return flow lances installed in the same water rings. HYBRID system is only designed and manufactured by COOLING CONTROL in the world. The Hybrid design enables shorter evaporation lengths inside the tower compared to conventional designs which consist of only return flow or spillback lances. The gas is cooled by high-pressure water spray without using the compressed air to make the water droplets finer.
