2016 DECEMBER: NUH ÇİMENTO REPLACES ITS PNEUMATIC CONVEYING SYSTEM TO BEUMER's BUCKET ELEVATOR
NUH ÇİMENTO SANAYİ A.Ş., one of the biggest integrated cement factories in Europe, has recently started the upgrade and capacity increase project for kiln line-1 on EPC basis contracted to DAL TEKNİK MAKİNA TİCARET VE SANAYİ A.Ş.
The present pneumatic PH feeding unit was converted to energy efficient bucket elevator of BEUMER within the project scope. As a result of this conversion, more efficient bucket elevator conveying system with its low energy consumption made the payback period very short.
The compressed air energy consumption is an important issue in all of the cement plants and BEUMER proposes energy-friendly belt or bucket elevators instead of pneumatic conveying systems.
