2010 OCTOBER: ELAZIĞ CEMENT's TECHNICAL COLLABORATION WITH MAGOTTEAUX
Çimentaş, which established the first cement plant of the Aegean Region in Izmir in 1950, has become one of the important cement producer groups today in Turkey. The group has plants in the regions where the domestic market demand is high, such as the Aegean and the Marmara, as well as the developing and exporting regions in the eastern part of Turkey.
Elazığ Cement Plant joined in Cementir Çimentaş group in 2006.
Magotteaux, offering the most technological, energy efficient and economical solution at the same time, has signed a contract to modernize a ball mill for a capacity and efficiency increase in Elazığ Cement Plant.
The unique XLIFT® first chamber lifting liners developed by the Magotteaux R & D team, and CLASSOLINE classifying liners for the second chamber, the OPTICONTROL® flow-controlled intermediate diaphragm and new ball charge calculations will provide a significant increase in capacity.
This modernization project with Magotteaux is due also to the experiences of the Çimentaş Group in previous years with Magotteaux solutions.
