2010 AUGUST: YURT CEMENT CONTRACTS WITH MAGOTTEAUX FOR 3 NOS CEMENT BALL MILL MODERNIZATION
YURT CEMENT is upgrades three cement ball mills with Magotteaux.
Yurt Cement, started to produce in the city of Muş in 2008, has taken its place as an important cement producer in the region it is in.
With the contract signed in August, the modernization and capacity increase project of the three cement ball mills in the plant has been contracted to the quality and experience of Magotteaux.
In project scope; Monostep lifting liners for 1st chamber, Duo3 and Classoline classifying liners for 2nd chamber have been used. In modernization it was also decided to exchange the intermediate diaphragm with the flow-controlled Opticontrol® and inlet head liners from Magotteaux's high chrome solution.
These modifications were determined as a result of the site work of the Magotteaux technical staff and mutual technical meetings, aiming to increase the current capacity by about 30%.
