2017 SEPTEMBER: VICAT BAŞTAŞ - BEUMER PIPE CONVEYOR CAPACITY INCREASE PROJECT
Vicat Baştaş Cement Plant started its operation almost 15 years ago, has the pipe conveyor from Beumer. It is the 1st reference of Beumer in Turkey. Due to the new regulations and Baştaş policies to burn more alternative fuels, the capacity increase project has been decided by Baştaş.
The project mainly consists of revisions in the drive systems and installing a new belt as well as some other fine tunings. After finishing the project, the present capacity will be tripled.
The contract has been signed between Vicat Baştaş and Beumer and the project will ve finished in April.2018 latest.
